On Saturday the 6th April our collaboration with Sea Butchers (Talho do Mar) kicks off with a supper club at Bar Douro City. This event celebrates Portugal's deep connection with the Atlantic, focusing on the fish family.

We are excited to share a seven course menu prepared by Sea Butcher Rodrigo Alves and Bar Douro Executive Chef Neuza Leal.

For £80 per person, the menu will include two amuse bouches & five dishes.

Bochechas de Tamboril, Xerém de Cogumelos e Massa de Pimentão
Monkfish Cheeks, Mushroom Corn Porridge & Fermented Peppers

Pescada Grelhada, Molho de Caldeirada
Grilled Hake, “Caldeirada” Sauce & Crispy Kombu

Cevada Doce, Alface do Mar
Dulse Barley & Brown Butter Pudding

For an additional £40, this menu will be perfectly paired with five Portuguese wines thoughtfully selected by Bar Douro founder Max Graham, supplied by specialist Portuguese importer and Decanter’s Best Portuguese retailer of the year, Festa Wine.
